LPN started with Street Fighter 4, but quickly became one of the most stand-out players in SFV, taking first place at a Pre-Release tournament. Since then, he has dropped Birdie for community favorite Urien, while continuing to "rise up" to the challenges presented to him.
Birdie's character is very fitting of the "dim-witted brute" archetype. He is violent, short-tempered and generally unkind to others around him, and has an unsettling habit of licking his chain attached to his wrist before and/or after combat. However, he is shown more positively in the expanded media of Street Fighter; for example, in the Alpha manga, he is shown to be friends with Ryu, and allies himself with Chun-Li.
Often crass and abrasive, Alex's boldness tends to land him in deep trouble; he is also prone to violent outbursts of extreme aggression, especially if the people he loves are threatened. He is also very straightforward and refuses to mince words, especially when it comes to his confidence in his abilities. At times, this desire to prove himself can overwhelm his common sense, leading to very dangerous situations that test the very limits of his fighting capabilities.
Urien's personality can be best described as tyrannical and authoritative, much in contrast with the benevolent and compassionate nature of his brother Gill (though in reality Gill's far from a good person and is quite fanatical). Urien's nickname in the Street Fighter III series is even "The Treacherous Disciple", alluding to his status as the Judas to Gill's Jesus. Urien frequently displays sadistic tendencies, and takes a lot of pride in becoming the "True Emperor". Urien also dismisses the cryogenically preserved brains of his predecessors as "ugly and stupid" and "a mass of junk with no ability to take positive action".
