Turner and IMG’s ELEAGUE is gearing up to bring fans The ELEAGUE Cup: Rocket League 2018, a high-stakes tournament between eight of the best Rocket League® teams in the world, Friday-Sunday, Nov. 30-Dec. 2, beginning each day at 2 p.m. ET on Twitch and ELEAGUE.com. The event is ELEAGUE’s second in the past two years for Rocket League, the hit sports-action game from Psyonix that is a high-powered hybrid of arcade-style soccer and vehicular mayhem.

In addition to the three-day live event, ELEAGUE will also package its most exciting plays and stories to be presented in a series of episodes premiering Fridays, Dec. 7, 14, 21 & 28, at 11 p.m. ET/PT on TBS. ELEAGUE will integrate augmented reality into both the live digital coverage and TBS series, resulting in Rocket League cars “appearing” on the ELEAGUE stage throughout the production.

Teams & Format
Eight elite Rocket League teams will descend on ELEAGUE Arena, where they will be split into two four-team groups (below) and play a double-elimination bracket. The top four performing teams will advance to a single elimination playoff, where the winning team will receive the largest share of a $150,000 purse.

Casting Team Highlighted by Panel of Popular Rocket League Influencers
ELEAGUE has assembled a lineup of game experts to offer match commentary and studio analysis for The ELEAGUE Cup: Rocket League 2018. Analysts Caleb “WavePunk” Simmons, Michael “Achieves” Williams and Adam “Lawler” Thornton will return to ELEAGUE after commentating last year’s tournament, while Joey “Jorby” Ahrens and James “Jamesbot” Villar will make their ELEAGUE debut. Alex “Machine” Richardson will host the event.

Fans can join the live studio audience at ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta on Saturday, Dec. 1, and Sunday, Dec. 2, by obtaining free tickets here. On-site amenities at Turner Studios will include access to a game-focused fan experience and free concessions throughout the day.
