ELEAGUE Major Coming to YouTube

ELEAGUE, a transformative professional esports organization formed in partnership with Turner and WME | IMG, is coming to YouTube with live event coverage of the ELEAGUE Major (Jan. 22-29, 2017) available via the ELEAGUE YouTube channel.
The ELEAGUE Major will feature live event coverage Sunday, Jan. 22, through Wednesday, Jan. 25, from ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta beginning at 10 a.m. ET each day.  The ELEAGUE Major playoffs, from historic Fox Theatre in Atlanta, will include quarterfinal and semifinal action Friday, Jan. 27, and Saturday, Jan. 28, along with the Grand Final on Sunday, Jan. 29 (with coverage starting at 10 a.m. all three days).
“This partnership with YouTube is a great opportunity to further broaden the reach of our ELEAGUE content across their popular platform,” said Craig Barry, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer, Turner Sports. “Our passionate fans, especially our core millennial audience, consume content in a growing number of ways and this provides them with an additional touch point to connect with premium ELEAGUE content.”
"We are thrilled to be hosting the first CS:GO Major of 2017 on YouTube. The ELEAGUE Major will be one of the biggest beats of the year and broadcasting the event falls in line with other CS:GO activities we plan to introduce on our platform throughout 2017,” said Ryan Wyatt, Global Head of Gaming, YouTube.  “Turner's continued expansion into new content initiatives on YouTube continues to grow and we are excited to support them."
