F2Tekkz Defeats tuga810 in ELEAGUE FUT Champions Cup February Grand Final

The fifth major competitive event of the FIFA 19 calendar, the ELEAGUE FUT Champions Cup February, concluded today from ELEAGUE Arena at Turner Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, after Donovan 'F2Tekkz' Hunt bested Diogo Eurico Fidalgo 'tuga810' Pombo in the Grand Final. F2Tekkz earned the majority of the event's $100,000 purse, along with 1,500 Global Series Points – critically important to further improve his global standing and ultimately qualify for this summer's FIFA eWorld Cup.

Complete Day Three and aggregate scores and standings are available here. ELEAGUE will provide additional details about its next professional FIFA 19 competition – a Licensed Qualifying Event at ELEAGUE Arena, Friday-Sunday, May 3-5 – in the coming weeks.

World No. 1 F2Tekkz added more than an ELEAGUE trophy to his sterling record this weekend. The newly-minted major champion is also now the only player in FIFA Global Series history to have captured three FUT Champions Cups.

In the XBOX final, F2Tekkz had to overcome an early deficit against the second-ranked XBOX player Musaed 'Rogue MsDossary' Al Dossary. F2Tekkz asserted his dominance in the second leg, scoring the match's final three goals.

28th-ranked tuga810 toppled a giant when he upset the top-ranked PlayStation star Gonzalo Nicolas 'FCB NICOLAS99FC' Villalba in that console final. The series included a dominant second game for tuga810, which he won by a score of 4-0 (6-1).
