ELEAGUE to Televise Best Matches from 2019 Clash Royale League World Finals Through Partnership with Mobile Game Publisher Supercell

Turner Sports Sales Team to Represent League’s Advertising & Sponsorship Inventory

ELEAGUE and Supercell today announced a multi-faceted industry collaboration that will align the two brands across premium content and sponsorships for Clash Royale League throughout 2020.

Through the partnership, ELEAGUE will televise highlights of a mobile esports competition for the first time, beginning with the best moments from the 2019 Clash Royale League World Finals, which took place in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Premium content initiatives under this partnership will begin with a two-hour special – ELEAGUE | 2019 Clash Royale League World Finals – debuting Friday, Dec. 27 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on TBS. The agreement also allows for ELEAGUE to produce future content surrounding Clash Royale League.

Additionally, the Turner Sports sales team will represent advertising and sponsorship inventory across Clash Royale League, including on digital platforms and exclusively for ELEAGUE’s linear television programming on TBS.

ELEAGUE | 2019 Clash Royale League World Finals – will include the best World Finals moments, including matches from several of the six teams that advanced to the prestigious event:

  • SK Gaming, which dominated the CRL West region with an 11-1 record
  • Team Liquid, the improbable squad that managed a second place CRL West region finish despite having only three players on their roster
  • Fav Gaming, which made it to Worlds after shocking CRL Asia region by posting its highest winning percentage 
  • CRL Asia’s OGN Entus, the “comeback kids” that defeated the region’s previous World Finalist as part of a rebound effort from a below .500 effort the previous year
  • Nova Esports of the CRL China region, the most accomplished Clash Royale team on record
  • W.EDGM, the CRL China region team that maintained the group’s top ranking throughout the regular season.
