RFID-enabled badges FAQ

New for 2018! This year’s ELEAGUE Major: Boston will utilize RFID-enabled badges to enhance your event experience. Your badge will serve as your admission ticket to enter the event fast, all with a simple tap of your badge!
    • For those who purchase their ticket(s) before 11:59pm on January 5th, 2018 and choose to participate in fulfillment (see below for details), you will receive your badge(s) in the mail during the week of January 15th, 2018. For those who purchase tickets after 11:59pm on January 5th, 2018 and/or choose not to participate in fulfillment, bring your e-ticket and ID to the Box Office at Agganis Arena at ELEAGUE Major: Boston to exchange your ticket for your RFID badge.

    • By opting into fulfillment, your RFID badge will be sent to the mailing address you provided when purchasing your tickets. Choosing fulfillment allows you to get right to the action when you arrive at ELEAGUE Major: Boston as opposed to waiting in line to swap your ticket for your badge and register your badge. Save time and choose fulfillment!

      ELEAGUE Major: Boston will have mandatory registration. Once you receive your ELEAGUE Major: Boston badge, either in the mail or on-site, simply register with your personal details and badge UID (found on the back of your RFID badge) and you’re ready to go!

    • Registration will be mandatory for ELEAGUE Major: Boston. If you opted to participate in fulfillment and receive your badge before you arrive at ELEAGUE Major: Boston, make sure you register with your personal details by clicking the registration button below. If you do not register before you arrive, or swap your ticket for your badge on-site, you will have to register using your smartphone or head to one of the registration stations on-site!

    • If you lost your badge before the start of the event, you will need to visit Will Call at the Agganis Arena outside the event entrance. If you lose your badge during the event, you will need to visit Customer Service inside the event grounds.

      If you have registered your badge online, we will be able to retrieve your information with the name and email address you provided upon registration along with a matching valid photo ID. At that point, we would deactivate your old badge, and activate a new one for you. Replacement badges are subject to a $5 replacement fee.

      If you have NOT registered your badge online, we may be able to retrieve your original ticket order. However, the original purchaser must be present with a matching valid photo ID in order to issue a new badge to you. We would also need to know the UID number (longer set of digits found on the backside of the RFID badge) of the lost badge to deactivate it.

      The event is NOT responsible for lost or damaged badges. Play it safe and register your badge when you receive it!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR BADGE

  • Each badge can be scanned into the event entrance; re-entry is permitted on the same day.
  • Only badges purchased from the official event website and ticketing partners are valid, do not purchase badges from third parties.
  • Badges are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
  • Badges that are lost or stolen are subject to a $5 replacement fee.
  • Badges will be treated as void if tampered with or removed
